Hey guys, i have a 1986 442 and i was contemplating throwing a turbo on my setup. Do any of you guys know if a system like this even exists. Otherwise I'll just buy a turbo and do all the tube routing myself
You'll likely have to make your own. I don't think they typically make turbo 'kits' for older cars like G-Bodies. It's possible you could use some of the plumbing/intercooler for a GN/T-Type though.
I've never seen one in my recent searches from any of the regular turbo kit places. I'm sure that there are places out there that you can call up and say you want one and it would not be a problem.
There are of course generic small block kits that you might be able to massage into fitting.
Are you planning a fuel injection setup, or a blow thru carb setup? Do you have a stock 307 or something else?
I haven't seen anything that's made specifically for Oldsmobile, but there's some options for Buick and Pontiac engines. I'm trying to find something that works for my setup
