Door latch striker reinforcement plate

Hey guys I was wondering if anybody has installed these. they're from G-Body parts I kind of want to bolt these in and use stainless steel fasteners and fender washers on the inside, on the website I believe it says you can weld them in. Josh

Id like to try it, my striker cracked like yours in the picture I had welded it 20 years ago but it's started to cracked again
