Door panel removal

I Pretty much have my whole interior removed. Except the door panels are giving me a hard time.. I can't get the top half undone, also how do you remove the power window knob (thingy)!
.this is on an 85 grand Prix. So all my GP guys please help a brother out
 
Did you remove the armrest and unscrew the couple srews in there ?

Do you mean the window switch ? If so it unclips from behind the panel

Yes i did but if i pull it sounds and feel as if its binding somewhere in the middle of the top half
 
Should be only clips holding it in . You also have to slide it up then out[/QUOTe
I'll try that tomorrow.. I got frustrated yesterday so i stopped..
 
Do you have door pull straps? There will be screws holding them to the door structure. If your talking about the blue knob like thing that holds the connector to the switch, I've always just turned them off...it's like a speed nut with a plastic covering.

**Edit I see Slowpoke beat me to the pull straps while I was typing
 
Also if it has door straps there's a couple scews behind the cover
Yeah i removed all that..I've removed door panels before but the nob to adjust the door mirrors i can't seem to figure out
