Sick Week live streams are on Bailey's YT channel.

This is day one:

I streamed this all day in the background during my Zoom meeting, both last the whole week. One is boring, the other is not.

A lot of carnage for day 1, more than I’ve seen in any of these events lately. The two heaviest hitters didn’t make it through the 1st day. And a bunch of other 6 and 7 second cars met the same fate.

Im signed up for power tour again this year, wish i had something even semi capable for events like sick week or drag week

There is a dude racing a bone stock Model A. 20+ second ET.

Drag Weekend is Sept 23-25 that I've done for like 5 years

Not officially announced yet but I'm 99% sure this is the plan

Sept 23- Cordova IL
Sept 24- Byron IL
Sept 25- Earlville IA

Prep at Cordova is promised to be pretty good (it just rained last year), Byron is always top notch, Earlville has been meh but the promoter/organizer has rented the track for the day this year and is likely going to make it half- top notch prep day for the local No-Time cars AND half drag weekend

Probably my last year i'll campaign the 2+2, try to average a 10, and then build a car with a cage to go sub 10's for '23.

Streaming and Zooming again today.

No shortage of CARnage today.

Lots of smoking at the top half and cars pushed off. No rods-out-the-block at the 60ft and roll down the center of the track (yet) oil downs however.

I have always been of the attitude that the real fastest street cars are the ones that drove in and left under their own power while completing the week.

The black turbo poncho-powered GTO out of Alberta is among them. Bonus points for a stick.

This event pre-race talk was about how many 6 and 7 second cars were going to run and it would be more of drag than drive event.

And damn, there were alot of these cars present on Sunday. After two days though, there are ALOT of them missing. And keep in mind that the drive portions are nothing like DW or Rocky Mountain - way way shorter and flat land.

I like Devin Vanderhoof, and really appreciate his educational videos, but watching his post blow up video whining was disappointing.

Just sayin’

And I agree Mike, the Canuck that drove his car to Bradenton is spectacular!!!
