Met up with Hooptiewagon yesterday to settle some business, and he presented me with this rad shirt his Power Tour friends made.

It was bound to happen unfortunately. I was gearing up to take my Cougar to the Power Tour kick-off. But they never announced a replacement for the Norwalk Dragway (not sorry Summit) kick-off location.

It's a downer but I guess it leaves me time to focus my efforts on my local Drag Weekend event. Don't need to prep the wagon, just focus on the 2+2!
No, Rocky Mountain Race Week was 2 weeks ago out in Colorado and western Nebraska. I wouldn't mind going there since its only 8hrs trip to the launch and end stops and easy drive out there.
The local weekend event I go to is in September and is in Iowa , Wisconsin and Illinois. Local fab shop guy puts it on. Few drag week guys from MN go often. Belhar that has the Green 70 Pontiac GP with a big inch pontiac on nitrous thats deep in the 9's. He ran his silver 1st gen firebird also with big inch nitrous pontiac power deep in the 8's in SSBB power adder at drag week 18. Josh Norris that has the NA SBC red mid 60's nova with the stack injection that runs in the 9's and goes to drag week like every year. Fast Eddy that has the turbo pontiac Triumph TR7 from DW 17 has went to draw weekend in 18. There is usually 20-25 entrants the past 5 years drag weekend has been put on and with DW being cancelled I assume a lot of the MN/IA/WI guys that do drag week will pile on this event.
