This is exactly what I was looking for DoubleV. I only see one the connectors on my harness, do you think my wiring harness has been jacked?(i assume so). How do identify if the connector is for oil or coolant? Also can these be ran on a run of the cheap gauge lets say Pep boys or Autozone?

Sounds like your wires were butchered. The wire for the oil should be light brownish and the one for the temp should be green. I don't see why they wouldn't work with aftermarket gauges as long as you have the proper sensors ( not the ones used for idiot lights ), but I don't use aftermarket gauges so I don't really know anything about them.

I checked the wiring harness today...it does have the lines....just the conectors are different...due to the same type of sensor I was expecting the same style of connector...

Do you have any pics?

I know at least the temp sensor ( for the CCC system, not the gauge ) was changed at some point and you can't get the old style sensor anymore, so some sensors are sold with a matching plug and wire to splice in.

I will take one when I go by the house in the morning. But the colors of the wires matched what you listed prior. I don't think my car had the ccc hooked up. Reason I st!te I was looking at my carb and I see the weather packs for the hei but didn't seem to see the connectors for it.

Antoher thing I found odd is that my carb from the 307 has vacuum on it but my 350 one ( that my dad broke damn shaft on) didnt have a vacuum on it. But my 350 has a vacuum on the area of the &dad towards the firewall that goes to the heater core. Any info on the different of the vacuum differences on the 307 & 350?

What do you mean by 'a vacuum'? Do you mean a vacuum diaphram? If so, then you only need one on the front. This is the one with the screw on ot so you can adjust how far the choke opens right after a cold start. This same vacuum diaphram ( it's called a choke pull-off BTW ) also serves another function. It prevents your secondary air valve from opening too quick to prevent bogging when you mash down on the gas.

Give us some detailed pics and I'm sure we can help you out.

Pics of Ish I need help with!

This is random pics of the wiring harness, distributor, and the qudrajet carb....

This is behind the carb where do I connect it?
IMAG0031.jpg

This is a grind thats on my alternator bracket, where does it go? Also I'm using the braket for my alternator from my 307.
IMAG0030.jpg

Where does this grind attach? This location is where the hoses from the heater core.
IMAG0029.jpg

I was told this is the frame to head grind is that correct?
IMAG0027.jpg

These 3 plugs are on my starter that came on my 307 distributor. My problem is I don't see any connectors on my wiring harness for it.
IMAG0026.jpg

This on my intake , from the left of the picture you can see where I connected a hose for the heater core but what is the vacuum hose tip connection for?
IMAG0024.jpg

This is my egr valve, do i need to run a vacuum line for this, and if so where?

IMAG0015.jpg

Also any idea what the brown and white wires are for that have been capped?
IMAG0014.jpg

Any idea where this goes? It's also on my wiring harness
IMAG0012.jpg

I think they wire with no cap on it is for my alternator, and the one with the O like fiting also for my alternator...
IMAG0013.jpg

Any idea of the routing for this pcv?
IMAG0010.jpg

Also while the wife was at work I looked around the junk yard anad found these...only 2 center caps and lady told me 103.95 for all 4

Ok added some questions on the pictures, any input is appreciated...

the 3 wires coming from the distributor go to the distributor cap when you get one, same with the big pink wire with the white clip. they go to the cap.

the ground strap on the firewall connects to the block. either on the back of the head, on a transmission bolt, or wherever.

PCV will be on your valve cover, so you will just need a little chunk of hose to the carb.

You can probably just cap the port on the back of the carb. mines plugged.

EGR goes to the carb i believe.

i think the ground wire from the heater hoses just goes to one of the bolts holding the heater box in.
