that's the way I do it and mega has a good idea with using different color fluid so it's obvious when all the old fluid is gone.

Well, im old school, so what Ive always done when flushing lines and fluid, is let gravity flush out the old fluid completely, close all the bleeders except the farthest one, then fill the MC with clean fluid, pump it about 3 full pumps and let gravity push the fluid to the caliper/cylinder and repeat with each wheel. when it begins to run without bubbles out of the bleed screw (with a hose attached running into a clear bottle), its bled. easy, clean and simple and u dont need any help to get the job done.

I want to try doing it this way, so when you say you gravity bleed to flush out completely does that mean you crack all four one time and let all the fluid bleed out and have the whole system empty before you close them all and do them one at a time?

thanks,
wade

you can open them all up...the rear part of the reservoir is for the front brakes so of course they would take less time to change the fluid so the drivers side would be first to finish and then the passenger side and then divers side rear and finally the passenger rear. You'll have to close them off starting with the driver front since like any fluid they'll take the shortest path so if you don't close them off the longer length will take forever . I would go with mega's suggestion and use the different tinted fluid that'll help you see when the old fluid is flushed...

X2....just like he said...lol

after the gravity bleed you should not need to bleed the brakes but just in case there are bleeder screws that are called speed bleeders...they have a check ball so 1/2 turn out you can bleed the brakes yourself...
