86 Monte Carlo, Front springs are done for. What's better for ride purposes and looks. Drop Spindles? or buy the lowering springs? Right now they are headed up and collapse one coil , and the ride is TERRIBLE! Looking for a budget way to get the lowered look but keep some money in my pocket..

drop spindles would be better for ride quality. but if you're trying to save money and you'll have to replace the springs anyway, maybe just go with the lowering springs. or new stock springs with a coil cut off.

It also can depend on where you drive and how you drive. Because if you go for the dropped spindles, you will also be bringing you control arms 2" closer to the ground. Something to think about.

I have the Eibach pro's in mine as well and will be replacing my lower ball joints with tall ball joints which should drop it at least another 1/2" ..I'll be changing the rear Eibach progressive spring with a constant rate spring rate. I could never understand why Eibach would use a progressive spring when it's obvious those who are the market to upgrade their springs want performance springs....not an upgraded cargo coil....

I guess I should just save the pennies and get the lowering springs. If I want to lower, I could always get spindles for the front. thanks for the help guys

I recomend just going with the springs. And if that's not low enough for you, then go for spindles.

To save money, Stock springs from moog would be cheaper than lowering springs, and you could just cut the stockers. Just a thought.

The Eibach springs are a bit on the harsh side, which is something to think about if that would bother you.
