That's pretty neat...I never thought they had fuel cells for street cars. Think your going to get one?
As long as I hear from other people here that it will work I am going to get it. All I would have to do is build a trap door in the trunk to fill it and build a mount for it under the car. I can get the metal pretty cheap or for free.
those fuel caells are susposed to be mounted in the trunk you could put it under but I would fab like a skid pan for it as it will sit much lower than your factory tank

You can put it where you want to but that generally goes in your trunk not under it. All you would need to do is make a hole for the sump and one to run the a vent line through. I've been thinking bout it or awhile.

I have a 2 year old Spectra Premium tank out of my 85 GN.I put a fuel cell in so I have no use for it....
Looking to get $105 shipped if anyone is interested.
Do not put a fuel cell in your car unless you also plan on putting a firewall behind your rear seat.It also needs to be mounted to the frame for safety reasons.I wouldnt put a fuel cell in a car I ever planned on selling,it KILLS the resale.
It takes alot to put a cell in a car correctly/safely and most people arent going to spend the $800-$1000 on doing it right.....

Just remember,to install it correctly where you dont smell fuel all the time and wont burn yourself to death in a rear collision,its gonna be $$$$ and time.

You also have to route a vent outside the trunk.Fuel cells also arent great for street driving as they arent baffled.1st time you go thru a sharp turn with a 1/4 of a tank,its gonna starve for fuel.The foam the cell manufactures use for slosh control doesnt last a year before it breaks down and causes alot of problems.
And your car will be worth alot less........If you drive you car anywhere but the strip,you are making a HUGE mistake.
Also,not all G Body tanks are the same.There are 2 kinds of orig tanks....The ones for 84-87 Turbo Regals and 86-88 4.3 tbi Monte Carlos have extra baffling to control slosh and keep the pickup submerged.All the na ones are the same from the factory
Spectra Premium is the manufacturer of the only repo tanks G body guys can buy,part # 307c.You must specify fuel injection when ordering.Spectra just started offering the fuel injected tanks last year.....
