In case you have no idea what I mean watch this.
Only 2 minutes long

Haha...True, pontiacgp, but will eventually get to those next steps. Putting that info in this thread will prevent me from posting another stupid rookie post. You’re welcome.
I think the main idea here is to ensure that your next post isn't one starting with "Well, that didn't end well..." with pictures of a dented tank plus blood/separated fingers on the floor and a bandaged hand/arm. Safety first. Human, then car/equipment, in that order. Stay safe.

That is exactly how an air powered AC vacuum pump works. Harbor Freight sells one for like $20. You use a compressor to power it and it uses the venturi affect to create a vacuum which draws down your AC system. A carburetor works the same way. Air flow creates a low pressure area and atmospheric pressure pushes the fuel out. But I have to admit I never thought of that to get gas going without getting a mouthfull of AAAARGH!!!

Definitely a 1 person job even with 1/3 filled. The sender ring took 1/2 hour trying to budge it. The layer of rust jammed the ring. Perhaps you'll find the build sheet on top of the tank. I lined the tank straps with strips of bicycle inner tube.

ADDED EDIT: The above is true only if you're using jacks, jackstands and common sense.
