blue point is made everywhere because bluepoint is NOT snap on. all snap on does it change the label and overcharge the sh*t out of you. case in point, my mastercool hydraulic flaring kit cost me $300. the identical kit from snap on/bluepoint was $550.
snap on is 50% better than craftsman, but 250% more expensive. but certain tools are worth it. i love the hex key kit from s/o because they fit much more closely.
