I Purchase the Spectrum Premium GM307C, This one is used mostly from the GN Guys, The metal Baffles inside the tank is the closet to original. If you planning to do this to regal, this tank is your best choice. The Tank is made in Canada, That the C at the end of the part number. I order mine from summit racing, but i found the best price out there and price match with them. They also price match from eBay as long its a commercial seller. Did the same with the Sending unit. and used a Aeromotive fuel pump. I hope this help.

I paid: Fuel Tank GM307C - 133.96
Sending Unit FG156A - 80.34
Aeromotive Pump 11569 - 112.95
I thought the C on the end of the part # meant it came with a filler neck?

another member led me to this for an idea.... might go with this when I go injection, haven't decided yet.

Yeah, I looked at that but I still have the original tank so I would want to replace that anyways and upgrade all the fuel lines and then I would be able to just eliminate the mechanical pump from the equation. It definitely would be a quick set up and would work well if you have a good mechanical fuel system already in place.
I am also considering the Go efi 4 from FiTech, it looks like a nice piece.

i thought that too, but this is what i found out from there website. I am wrong about the "C" thing. It looks like that is the EFI Tank. I notice the Carb tank end with "A".

I tried the spectra tanks for an EFI conversion for my Monte Carlo SS. I went through three tanks that all would spurt gas back out the filler neck if you put the fuel in at anything more than a trickle (usually all over me), even the slowest notch on the pump handle was too fast. The Spectra fuel vents weren't sealed all the way down the filler neck so the fuel would try to flow around it and spew back out the top. I wound up having to have an original filler neck soldered onto the new tank and haven't had any issues since.

This is what I did also. The Spectra tank itself is fine...just re use your old filler neck. Note that the factory used some type of epoxy resin to attached the different filler necks so with a wire wheel and some effort they clean up nice. I used JB weld for fuel tanks to re attach.

I've been thinking about going with an electric fuel pump and going in-tank. Figured best would to try and retrofit something and use that holley mat thing in the tank for the pickup. My Tank has a dent in it and the fuel sending unit works when it wants, so while I'm in there may as well change it out since I need more flow for my motor.

For those of you that had issues with the filler neck on the Spectra tank did you use the GN tank or the Monte FI tank?
