Put the recent clamshells on. Lowered the engine , but I couldnt clear the headers. Moved the mounts just a little bit forward, Massaged the firewall and it's sitting in there with good header clearance. BUT.... I put the truck pan back on, I still have about 6" ground clearance, and since this is a "track only car, I think I will be OK

Big Weekend ahead!!! New .600 springs, , 300-132 manifold, MSD Box, Sloppy copy cam, (228/230 duration @ .050” with .585”/.585” valve lift and 112 degree lobe separation angle)

Maybe we will get fired this weekend, but I doubt it Will post up pics on Sunday with more narrative

A Tahoe/SUV pan will give you an additional 4”.

Truck, Tahoe, SUV is the same pan. One of the Holley or Chicom knockoffs will do better

Little bit of progress today. Comp Cams spring compressor worked very well changing the springs then I swapped out the cam for the sloppy 2

Today wasn’t a hard day. Just cleaned up the coil brackets and swapped out the Fi intake for a carbureted manifold
