*electric* crate motor

This article is about a very pricey electric crate motor that uses Chevy motor mounts. Too expensive for me -- especially as the price doesn't include the batteries & other equipment needed to make the car go -- but a sign that affordable electric alternatives for engine swaps are on the horizon

Install it and then use one of these as your motor cover and add the accessories to make look like a real engine

Nah, have fun.

I took the girls for a blast in the HellKitty this afternoon - kids don't beg to go for rides in glorified golf carts.

The idea of 500HP/800TQ and no exhaust note intrigues me greatly (imagine the shock of the guy you just passed), but not at 50K+ plus all the fabricating to make it work.
