You do understand that, no, this doesn't directly do anything, but is supposed to be a business "incentive" (bc $$$ is the language) to clean up their act. Do you really believe that its actually going towards something else? Cute.
Ya know I got to thinking, only an educated EV buyer is going to realize where the tax incentive does/does not apply. Over time this will likely become common knowledge. It incentivizes the (educated) buyer more so than the manufacturer. Or was there something else in there that more directly incentivized the manufacturer as well?
