After $2200 bucks in total redoing the whole breaking system, all fluids and filters changed, Reg and insurance a lil spit and shine she was on the road looking like this a couple weeks later...

Wheels were the first upgrade, put those on right away.

Then wrapped all four in BFG G Force sport tires. 245/45/17 up front. 255/45/17 rear.

After.. Tearing up Azusa Canyon

photobucket-2641-1315864417255.jpg

RPM Performer Air gap intake. Definitely Added power... Rebuilt the Edlebroke carb at the same time which was much needed. Skip White 65,000 Volt distributor 10.2 mm wires.. Those 3 upgrades add some sirius power... Also ripped the AC system out.

photobucket-2289-1315864400225.jpg

Underhood bars added even more stiffnes!

photobucket-2634-1315864275582.jpg

Edelbrock RPM performer Cam waiting to be put in. On top of my bros bandana design.

photobucket-2417-1315864382521.jpg

Rear frame brace, another massive improvement. Corners that I maxed out at before the brace were at 40 mph exit speed. After the brace same corner but closer to 50 mph.. And after the F41 front and rear sway bay, same corner but exit speed @ 56 mph, without pushing to the max!

photobucket-2280-1315864245276.jpg

One of the Latest upgrades, Nitto Invo tires... I love these tires!!! Highly recommend them!

photobucket-2576-1315864217963.jpg

Homie LowProElco hooked me up with Front F41 sway bar. plus my extra junk yard finings front, rear, jounce bars, underhood bars. So I painted it, bought new end links and mounting brackets from Hotchkis and installed it... And holy moly What a super mega difference!!! It's Starting to feel like it's on rails! Jerking the wheel hard for a 45 mph lane change... Doesn't even faze the Elky.

Thanks everbody! The compliments are really motivating, so is watching every one else's build! As you can tell suspention is first on my list, I love taking those corners! Now that my suspention is 50% complete I'm saving my penies for a DART block, going to go with 400 cu inches of ''dont race me, you'll get hurt!'' LOL

I never mentioned I'm running a 350/350 setup, just incase you were wondering, mild cam, non posi highway gears, still gets off the line pretty good. 0 - 60 in 6 flat and that was before the intake I believe. Once I get posi and some 3.73's I should be at 5.5 o-60's or lower!

Heres the most recent upgrades, Oct..

Today 11/1/11 I put my AC delete plate on, I was waiting for powder coat but got bord and started working on the elky.

Also blacked out the grill and bezels, Loprelco did the grill for me, also painted the overflow reservoir that Lowproelco gave me (thanks bra) and mounted it. Took these pix today.
