If you end up getting the escape door but your car door doesn’t clear you can build ramps the car sits on in the trailer to raise its height to clear, that’s what we did to our trailer at work we used to deliver vipers

The only thing I didn't like about that is that it would make a trailer awkward to use as a cargo trailer depending on what you're trying to load. I also used to sleep in the trailer and questioned the wisdom of 2x12s screwed to the floor when I walk into the dark trailer drunk at midnight. Aside from that it's an good, simple, cheap idea.

Thank you for all your input
I ended up getting a 24 foot Aluminum Enclosed made by NEO. It’s a Liberator and weighs 2,900 pounds. I hope I made a good call going enclosed.

it was super windy on way home last night with the trailer. I know what you mean. Chrysler warranty will fix anything LOL

Do you have a weight distributing hitch on there? They're a must for enclosed. You can get them with sway control too. Empty sucks even harder in the wind. Do you have load range E tires? What were your rear pressures? All these make a huge difference.

As Supercharged said you need a weight distributing hitch which I can see isn't on. The sway control is a must also.
