Heads are both 14014416 heads.

Thats good, then gaskets or valve seals are your next items to be checked. It's looking like you may be removing this head soon to be certain to take are of this issue.
Another thing is, If you remove your head you can once and for all see what engine displacement you have by measuring the bore and stroke from the top.

Good point. Sadly, it'll probably be a while before i pull it apart. Only vehicle i have to drive. I would be able to drive my dads t type but its winter and salty in NY..

I see your point. I'm originally from up there too. Keep some extra plugs handy in the meantime. As long as its running ok you'll have to bear it.
