OK guys, being that it's the 21st already, its that time to open up our nominations as promised. Hopefully you've either gotten, or made a plan for, your staged pictures either last weekend or this one.

This month's theme as announced earlier is 'Giving Thanks.' So, your goal is to highlight something about your car that you're thankful for - you've got to tell us with your picture submission. It can be a memory, a modification, some type of work you've done fixing it up, etc etc etc.

So, let's go! It'll either cut off at 15 cars that haven't won yet this year (not the owner, just the individual car), or, we'll probably close it around mid-week to allow time for voting if we don't get enough entries.

I'm thankful for the 1978 Regal I've had since I was 15 (almost 40 years) I'm also VERY thankful for the Holley Sniper EFI I installed this year which makes me work extra hours for tires.

My buddy Ronnie, knew him for a long time. He had a shop and when I bought my SS in November 2010 he closed for a week after Christmas of that year and we built my SS into a running & driving car. Had a couple buddies come over too during that week and we got it done. In with a 305/2004R, drove out with the LS/T56. We did alot of cruising around after that having fun with the car. He passed away a few years ago from dimensia. Was a great guy would help anyone he could.

We are here installing the Front Coil Springs..

With his help at the time it got the SS setup into what I've built it currently into. Took these pics before I lowered the nose but they work..

I'm thankful for my car as a whole, it taught me how to problem solve, think on the fly, and become adept at emergency fixes. And arguably, the fact it was my first car, made me a better driver. No abs, no ipad in the dash, no distractions or nanny devices.
