Actually, the title let's you ride it....... legally. Remember the American Chopper Era when everybody and their cousins thought they could build custom bikes until they couldn't get a title because there was no VIN?
Cool ride, enjoy!

Thanks for the compliments, guys.

It's all in the fenders!!!!!!
You're completely right. These early Gilroys are basically a Heritage Softail with Indian fenders. The later Gilroys were less Harley.
I actually prefer these earlier ones for no other reason than parts availability. If I'm in the middle of Wyoming and need an ignition module, carb kit, or starter, it's nice to be able to get parts at any place that services HDs.

Holy sh*t, you guys. Rib injuries are horrible. I've seen a chiropractor (who might suck) 3 times since I crashed and I thought I had a handle in things. Felt pretty good, in fact. Sat in a booth at a restaurant tonight for about an hour and now it feels like I'm being stabbed in the right lung every time I exhale or inhale. I've still got 3 more jobs before I get home. This might be a sucky week.

Also, sold the Chevette. Guess I'm out of the diesel game.

Yup, broken ribs absolutely suck. What does the chiropractor claim to be doing for that? They just have to heal. I would think extra pulling and stretching would be detrimental.

Yep, took about a month for mine to be 100% after an ill-advised bailout while mowing down a hill I shouldn't have.

Hope you feel better soon. Don't push too hard while you are banged up.

The first of my parts came in.

I ran the buffer over the rear fender and the tank sides. Helped a lot. Actually came out better than I expected. The new emblems should cover a couple stubborn scratches on the left tank. Just need to pick up some 3M tape.
I'm off to El Salvador for a week. Hoping to have a couple more items here when I get home.
