Wow thats crazy ! ! Do the regular citizenry agree with those crazy [ illegal unconstitutional laws ] or is it the politicians in your state run a muck ?
Sorry for your loss Clutch. That's one of the reasons I left Oregon. Their overreaching, unconstitutional, feel-good laws were getting out of hand. I guess if I still lived there I'd be in the "will not comply" camp. Ironically, many of the states that legislate that stuff have state constitutions that either mirror federal 2A or are specifically more citizen friendly. They end up completely contradicting themselves while making the law abiding citizens into criminals after the fact. No actual "problem" is being solved.

Well Mayor Santa Claus aka Bill Peduto and his gang of socialists just introduced a measure in the City of Pittsburgh to make it "unlawful to manufacture, sell, purchase, transport, carry, store or otherwise hold in one’s possession an assault weapon (read "AR-15)" within the City" as well as outlaw "items such as bump stocks, armor-penetrating bullets, sawed-off rifles and large capacity magazines" and "enable courts to temporarily prohibit a person from having guns if law enforcement or immediate family members show that the individual poses a significant danger".

This has become the new strategy. Since they can't beat 2A from the top down (federally) they've decided to get all grassroots with local "common sense" legislation. With some creative misdirection they get the uneducated masses to vote for it. Then it goes state level.
Here's a perfect example. Washington voters passed this POS last month https://www.initiative1639.org/what-does-initiative-1639-do/ . It wouldn't have even made it to the ballot had signature gatherers not used (documented) deceptive practices to get the numbers.
Oregon has a history of using "emergency clause" legislation -- phone and pen bullshit. The voters don't even get a choice.
To me, the most dangerous thing going on right now is these red flag laws. Extremely dangerous for all involved. Let alone completely unconstitutional.
