glad you got it back in one piece! at least I wasn't the only one with trailer trouble today. pulling my '98 parts blazer home this morning on the tow dolly, when the straps came loose just as I was hitting the brakes for a stop sign. rolled forwards off the dolly and bottomed out at the front doors... ended up using the jack from the blazer and a floor jack I had and yanked the wheels off the dolly, setting it's frame on the ground, and then trowing the jacks in front of the plates, and backed the blazer up and over..... I really need a drive on trailer....

Agreed. Tow dollies work great until they don't. Still though, I love mine. One of the best tools I ever invested in.

I'm gonna try Redneck Trailer in the morning. Their website lists exactly what I need. Then D&B for some fencing stuff and springs if Redneck is out. Gonna be a busy week.

I kinda lamed away most of my day. Took my work car over to my dad's shop and did an oil change and transmission service. Then came home and took a Nyquil induced mid-day nap. Finally shook the cobwebs enough to get off the couch and into the garage.
My white TW still has the original tires and the front is pretty unpredictable. The nickname for the OE Bridgestone TW31 is "Deathwing" because it has the tendency to wash out with zero warning. I've lived with it but it really keeps me cautious. You might remember last fall when I crashed it and ****ed up my ribs and shoulder. That was partially Deathwing related.
The tire that seems to be really popular right now is the Shinko 241 so I ordered one up and slapped it on tonight. The tread pattern is pretty unassuming but you can see that it's got a lot more on the edges and TW guys swear it's much more trail capable than it looks. It's definitely got a softer compound but it's reported that tread life is among the best out there.

Deathwing...

241...

244...

The blue bike had a pretty fresh Shinko 244 on it when I bought it and it's waaay better than the Deathwing. it'll be interesting to see how the 241 and 244 compare. I'm supposed to go in the hills with a buddy on Tuesday but he bailed last minute twice before.

I'm old and fat and tired and have a bad back. This cherry picker really made the job easier.

My wife has 13 Flemish Giant meat rabbits, 6 squirrels 2 raccoons and an opossum living in the sunroom i built for her

She thinks she's fooking snow white.

I wouldnt mind 2 birds over all that crap!
not once you hear them at all hours of the night. we have wild ones living all over the farms. i hear them in my room and they are 1/2 block away. and I have ducks and chickens but i will listen to my rooster all day over those damn peacocks adult males are SUPER loud!

Hear the rabbits?

Rabbits are nocturnal, all you hear is them running around all night.

There not honking or anything but they are annoying.

Plymouth should have used this instead of the Road Runner!!!!!

Yup, that's it. I almost never hear him though. Neighbor has a rooster that needs to be taken aside and reminded of his job description though. About the only time he doesn't make noise is dawn. 3am? Sure. 10am? You bet. Sunrise? Nope, must be asleep.

I've found a lot of useful stuff at Trailerpart.com over the years.
