Exhaust and trans cross member?

I am swaping in a turbo 350 in to my 86 2dr G body. Will the trans cross member from a 78 to 80 A body work or do I need one from a 81/88 G body? Are all turbo 350 cross members the same 78/88 ? Did the 78 to 80 A bodys come with true dual exhaust? Is ther a factory dual exhaust cross member that will bolt up with out mods? What size are the 442/hurst olds G body dual exhaust tail pipe's? all 78-88 rwd intermediates use the same two transmission crossmembers .... 1) for the 250/350 and 1) for the 200-4r. A 81 (despite being the newer body style - is still an A-body). No true duals, just the catback style H/O and 442. So no factory dual exhaust Xmember ... however G-force does make them for both transmission Xmember aps (and also for 700-r4 and t-56). Sorry i don't recall factory tube diameter but would guess 2.25" - 2.5".

i put a turbo trans 350 in my 78 regal and iused my stock crossmember so no worries

All G-bodies equiped with a TH-250/350, Metric 200, or 200-4R will use the same driveshaft.
The 200-4R is the only trans with a specific crossmember, the rest of them are the same.

But, there are two exceptions with driveshafts...
El Caminos, since the wheelbase, and thus the driveshaft, is 11" longer.
And '84-'87 Turbo Buicks/442s are an inch shorter to accomodate the 8.5" rear.
