I'll go back and verify, but I know that I connected the wire from the sensor to the wire in the bulkhead connector.Check the wiring, just one wire from that sensor to the gauge

Except I connected it to the WRONG wire in the bulkhead, the green/white wire instead of the tan wire. It works now.I'll go back and verify, but I know that I connected the wire from the sensor to the wire in the bulkhead connector.
How does it read now? I am looking at putting a new motor in my 80 malibu with the factory gauges. I have been concerned about the gauge topping out at 60. The motor is in my Chevelle right now and reads over 60 at idle on the mechanical gauge.Except I connected it to the WRONG wire in the bulkhead, the green/white wire instead of the tan wire. It’s reading between 30-40 at idle. I may have an issue when I get on it. With open headers I’ve been real tame in my neighborhood. How does it read now?
