I have had 275/60 on the following with no issues: 70 LeMans, 78 Cutlass, 79 Grand Prix, 83 Wagon (they are on the wagon in the pic lower right)

Going with a 8" rim helps reduce the sidewall buldge, along with right offset keeps them off the rail.

I have the Soft 8z (15x8) on my wagon right now with 255z and have plenty of room for more tire. I just have a nice set of Yokohamas that I did not want to waste.

Tomorrow the Cutlass is getting 15x10 Bogart RTs with 30x9 radial slick. It is tight but will work.

So I just want to make sure I have this correct. I have a 1982 Regal. Will the 15x8 275/60 and 235/60 R15 tires fit on my car?

Soft 8's are mad cheap and I love the look. I changed my mind again and I am not going with the low rider look, back to the drag racing hot rod look again, lol.

ive asked this question a couple times for a 86 cutlass. some say yes some say no. i think you just gotta try it out and see what happens im probably just going to go with 255 to play it safe.

Hmmm.........I will have to figure it out then. I have 15 inch rims now, think 15x7....I know I have about 2-3 inches of clearance from the rear frame to the tire.

i went to the goodyear shop in my town, which has done plenty of odd set-ups like this, and combined that advice and this forum advice. im going with soft8's 15x8 in the front and 15x10 in the rear. im going with a 235/60/15 in the front, (with maybe a small drop of the front suspension to fill out the gap later) and a 275/60/15 in the rear. im a little worried that the 15x10's might be too much in the back, but well see how it turns out, should look nice. im also goin with the same exact general grabber hp tires. 15x8's fit no problem on both my cutlass and regal
