What kind of times and drive train?Greetings Guys; I check in every day. I've had the HONOR of being the car of the month more than once. But I could Not resist, here is the Bronze Brick on day 3 around August 3rd 1979. "Sleeper", you be the judge. It was the 2nd quickest car you could buy in 1979. I know that's not sayin' much? Ole' Bob.

The best sleepers are 4 doors, because nobody believes anybody would bother with one. Think sloppymechanics Fairmont.
Coupes with wheels, or even wagons these days are always suspect.
I'm always somewhat irked when I see a coupe with dog dish caps and giant rear tires called a sleeper.
Turbo, full send 4 door with original patina, capability of easily running 10s and still rocks the bench with modest safety equipment.View attachment 167372
Nothing says sleeper like four doors, no chrome wheels, no fresh paint job, stock hood, factory seats and lastly needs to be in the 10's.
Chris is on the edge of 10's - this gets my vote.
I dug in your post history and it does not go back to a build thread. Looking forward to finding it...
I now return you to our regularly scheduled program...
I cannot locate my frame off build either. Disappointed.I did a build but never continued it to my conclusion. I just added hydroboost and a new intake manifold. Will see if can find my original thread.
