February's theme is... "Sleepers"

What's that mean? I'm gonna be pretty open on this one, but here it means cars that don't look like what's underneath or what it can do. So no MCSS, GNs, HOs, 442s, etc., obvious looking stuff, out-and-out track cars, etc. I'm talking ordinary trim levels/models that look like an old lady drives them to church on sunday, more or less. You guys know what it means.

Winner gets one T-shirt made of their photo sent on the house (see last months for example.... shipped it to Canada so no "action" shots yet as it still hasn't made it there(!)) and it'll be up in the shop for anyone who wants one.

and GO!

Great, I'm out of the running again since both of my Gbody's look fast but only one really is.:blam:

Too bad I don’t have any action shots of the 1983 wagon suitable for the Forum header.

406 SBC, 200-4R and Auburn 3.73. Each door and one fender was a different color. Benetton special. Back in the day, its best quarter was 14.6 at 93 mph. Not really fast, but utterly unexpected. I annoyed a few Mustang and Camaro owners still making payments.

When this photo was taken, I had no idea you could cut down coil springs...

It's a sleeper unless it's running...
😛

I want to know more about EFI on a Buck Big Block!

An '84-85 GN would be the greatest sleeper ever. The problem with 4 doors is nobody tries to race you because 95% of the time its stock with a nice old guy driving.

If a a guy in a Mustang or Camaro see's a GN without a 3rd brake light (especially if its a guy who used to own a GN), he is throwing it a rev and is confident he's going to stomp it.
