Whoa hey is everything OK? We're actually starting this on time!?

YES

Now get in here and post your mint garbage.

This is how it looks every year as I switch it back from Winter duty to Spring, Summer and Fall duty. Out comes the Eastwood Contour to remove all the rust blisters before touching up with white Rustoleum on a foam brush.

Seems unlikely I'll be able to get any decent shots of this thing back on the ground in the near future, so here goes with what I have on hand.

I got the car from my dad when he passed. He had a head injury and, toward the end, a real penchant to half-*ss things (though a lot was half-assed before he got the car too). The car has a Goodwrench GenVI 454, TH400, 9" rear, and aftermarket control arms front and rear that he swapped in.

Not too shabby, right? Check out this mint floorboard.

Passenger side was "repaired" in a similar fashion. How about this sweet rear frame rail? Apparently I didn't get both. They're equally awful.

But the body structure that the body mount bushing sits on isn't gone, so there's that. At least not that I can see. This shows the general brown nature of the car.

Don't worry about the wired up exhaust, crap hanging, and wires crappily zip tied along the frame. That's finally been dealt with a long with a host of other items. The interior is pretty snazzy. It has new carpet, new headliner, and the seats look new too.

Also a Dakota cluster. . .

With some jankety wiring and janketily installed steering wheel.

Engine shot.

It's getting a bath when it comes off the lift (whenever the snow melts at my friend's place). I'm going to hotsy the engine bay too.

Too bad we can't enter others vehicles. The Chicago Cutlass deserves g-body of the month sometime and this category would be ideal.

Poorly sealed windshield glass means... rust...

For safety purposes you really need tie down straps for the hood and trunk lid, things are..... crusty.

I'd finally talked myself into cutting it up but the wife wanted it for hers.... so.... anyways, the nicest piece to the car these days has to be 69hurstolds repop emissions decal
