So i've been looking for a grand Prix, 78 lemans or a Cutlass for a few weeks now. Looked at a few cutlasses including a gt And 442. All too rough for what they were asking and I wanted. There is a nice looking GP on this site for sale but it's 11 hours away and what the seller is asking is more then what id want to pay for it. Few things in the pic that worry me.

So I'd pretty much gotten tired of the junk and gave up. Last night I click on marketplace and here pops up a 86 Cutlass for a real nice asking price. Seller got back to me thismorning and I went to check it out. Figured I'd see more junk especially for the price. I looked it over And bought it on the spot. Lower doors are the only rust on it. Clean other then that. Int is a little worn but in good shape. The 307 runs nice. Not breaking any speed records but drove nice at 75mph for the hour drive home.

Plans for it:

Near future. Clean it up inside and out. i'd like a cooler steering wheel... 442 wheels if I can find them, the 442 style exhaust and drive and enjoy the car.

Down the road I'd like to throw umi's power tour suspension kit on It. Re-gear and maybe throw an OD trans in it.

Down down the road I'd like to put a mild LS in it with the efi and IOD trans.

Looks like the power antenna connector. Not a bad looking car either definitely has potential.

Unfortunately not the original chrome steel. G body parts used to several years ago but not anymore. I believe there are some larger diameter aluminum versions available aftermarket these days.
