Bacon and eggs it is 😛 thanks manBacon, eggs, toast, juice or coffee is a good breakfast. You want it balanced. Don't just fill up on sweet carbs (pop tarts, cereal, frozen waffles and the like). Truely, good luck.

Easy points first - got it, chief. Thank youHopefully you have been keeping up with the reading and homework, so you're not in a panic. Read through the exam all the way before starting. Decide which questions you can nail, and do those first. Work your way down the list and if you get stuck, don't freak - work the next problem and go back. Don't give up easy points getting bogged down. Sometimes a bit of inspiration strikes later anyway. Good luck!
Wow man, you got it all figured out. I really appreciate the advice. My father is a union electrician, so maybe I could get him to hook me up with an internship of sorts with his company. This is the first time I havn't been in finals week. Just graduated in May with my engineering degree.
I had a room mate that didnt do any studying and minimal homework. Brilliant guy, he would show up to the test and assuming it was open book learn the material as he took the test. However he doesn't have a job in the field yet.
A lot of the recent grads that complain all the jobs require experience is just because they never did anything but drink and party and work at pizza hut.
I will echo, get involved outside of class. Get involved in undergrad research, competitions, clubs, ect. That stuff, although not paid work experience is experience. You likely wont get an internship as a Freshman to Sophomore year. Maybe a coop but i wouldn't worry, Get a factory job, even as an EE be an household electrician apprentice for a summer or something. Employers like to see relevant stuff. Sophomore to Junior if you don't get a 3 month intership take a co-op and take a semester off no doubt. Getting one Sophomore to Junior is vital. That opens up Junior to Senior year to go to the fortune 500 companies.
If its like a lot of people I know (and what I did) is do construction (I ran my own business) or something Freshman to Sophomore year, get a summer internship at a local supplier level (or coop) Sophomore to Junior year, and then do an internship at your Boeing, Ford, Cat, type fortune 500 for your Junior to Senior year. Then decide where you want to go after that. I wouldn't return to the same place a second time (unless you go coop and have 3 summers basically) since its all about building networks and experience.
If you don't get an intership or on campus job theres a good chance you won't get an ideal job when you graduate. If you get active early you will just build on it.
Other words of wisdom, don't knock a girl up, treat class like work (calculate how many dollars per hour you pay to sit in class, you WONT miss after you run that math, and don't live in the dorm (get out, hang out in labs, ect).
Study tips? Don't get too stressed out, if you do bad your early on retaking classes sucks but its super common. A lot of freshman/soph profs want you to fail. If you make it past 2nd semester soph year your golden.
I also second the if you dont know it answer it later. But I would suggest doing something for every question. Even if you write the givens or something it shows you kinda knew the procedure and partial credit is your friend. If you're at a 55% and the class average is 50% don't be surprised if you get a B. Grades are often made up. Just know the material and you'll live. 🙂

Is it all old farts here, or are there any other undergrad or graduate students (Whats your school and major if so)? Good luck on finals if it applies to you.
Anyone with college experience got any tips on finals week? I hear a good nights sleep is worth more than cramming and memorizing.
Cheers from University of Delaware. Im an electrical engineering major. Freshman.
Disclaimer: Nothing against old farts, you guys are cool lol
Nice to meet a fellow engineering student and G body enthusiast.
Greetings from University of Oklahoma (this fall was my first semester there). I am a Junior, Mechanical Engineering major.
My finals week is this week as well. Good luck on your finals. Don't cram all night the night before or pull an all-nighter or anything, sleep helps with your memory and learning.
Haha advice taken. Luckily my finals are spread out onto Monday Wednesday, and Friday. Having a day off in between is nice. Anyways, youre right Id better get down to work. Cheers and goodluck to you too!Wow lots of engineers. Im went back to school later in life and am in my 3rd year now. I study the way everyone here says not to haha. Im going about it totally different this time around than i did when i was younger. I put in the effort in the school year when you actually have time to rest, and that way the studying is not as tough for finals week. Whoever made the schedule this year decided to put 4 of the toughest courses back to back one day after another, and mostly at night.
Best advice i got was from my dentist. He said dont stress, just do your best and it will be enough. That and get off GBF and study!
