Buy it.

I say we get a collection going...Every member on this forum sends you $1, to help you afford this car. That will be way more than enough From what I've read in many of your posts, you seem to be down on your luck quite a bit. I think everybody could afford $1, especially if it's going to a good cause. And, yes, I consider you buying a 4th car a good cause, even if it sits for a couple years...Who's with me?

I agree.....I bought a 63 nova convertible that is rusting in peace at my dads but I know what it is and how bad I wanted it and I WILL get to it someday. I am totally down to helping the cause. If 85 Cutlass Brougham wants this car we should do whatever we can to help him get it. Just think back to how many times this guy has helped out with his useful knowledge and technical know how. No matter what the subject he always has insight and I have to say that most of the time its very useful. so.....ihavenopantson.....tell me where to donate

I can afford a dollar or maybe 5, somebody get a thread going with a link to where we can donate. Moderators?

I'm up for it 8)

I've thought about this same idea too. Lets say it was your birthday, tell everyone you know instead of gifts everyone give 1 or 2 dollars. That would pile up pretty quickly (if you know a lot of people)

Well, I still haven't gotten a reply to my E-Mail, so it is not looking good. However, I do think I will try to seek one out if I manage to sell off my AMC. It would be a cool old car that I could actually afford to buy the gas for.

If I can give a dollar to a donate pet money at pets mart i can give 5 dollars for this better cause......

The dealership I bought my G5 at was selling a newer Aston Martin Vantage for $107 000. I swear if they wanted like 5 grand it wouldve been mine. Damn it

I Remember 2 Days later after I Bought My Cutlass, I was Cruising in the Bronx and I Bumped to this old Puerto Rican Guy at the Gas Station, And He Asked Me if I'm Selling My Cutlass cause He Knows someone that would Buy it. And I Noticed He was Pumping Gas on a Grand National. So I Asked Him if it's His, He Told Me yeah, And that He was Selling it for 3 Grand! It was Mint! I was so mad cause I just finished Buying My Cutlass. 😢

I was a high bidder on a malibu that didnt hit reserve. A beauty in every possible way. I loved the color, the 406, the interior, the stance, the wheels, I mean it was perfect. But it didnt come close to the 6K he wanted. I offered him 5K which was more than I wanted to considering how low the bidding ended at but he said no. I told him if he ever changed his mind I'd buy it. He called about a month later.... and three hours after I bought my Cutlass. Ever hear of buyers remorse....

By the way, go buy that mini for Christ sakes! 8)

Well, the Mini's advertiser still hasn't gotten back with me, so it is probably sold (that's a steal for a Mini in ANY condition). However, I may have found something else intriguing that would be better for my needs right now: a 1995 Sentra for $400 obo. I E-Mailed them just now. It is mildly wrecked in the front end, but so was my last Sentra, also a 1995 model. That one required a new radiator support and such too, so I know how to weld one back together. Plus, I already have the fender and grille left over from that car, so I could theoretically get this one going on the cheap (radiator, hood, radiator support, condenser, dryer, and a turn signal lens that I probably have too). I will probably buy it if it is a 5 speed as they get 32mpg in the city while delivering pizza (my 98 did) and over 50mpg highway ( I get about 18-20 delivering now, and about 25 highway so it would save me a lot of money). It would fit my needs well, and I have wanted another since I wrecked the last one. I used to be a Sentra and Frontier guru at Nissanforums.com before I ever started posting here. I also have the big brake upgrade sitting on a shelf for one of those cars, and a number of other items that came from the last one I owned. I figure it would run me about $200 to get that Sentra going, and it would pay for itself within 6 months. It's funny though as I hate the looks of the 95-99 Sentras, but I always end up with them. This would be my third. The first I bought new in 98 with a 5 speed and traded it after 3 months on the Frontier, the second I bought wrecked with 68k on it for $350 and it was an automatic with all the options. They are just such good little cars that the practical side more than makes up for the ugly *ss end.
