hi im new to these forums and im 19 years old and love montes regals and cutties ive had a v6 carb cutlass, a 350 monte and many other old schools but now as of a week ago i invested in a t type regal with t tops. ive never had a turbo car and im not used to fuel injection.
i bought the car off a older guy and all i knew is the motor didnt knock and the trans was smooth. so i bought it for 1800 dollars and i get it home fix a couple of vacumm leaks and cracked lines but one i plugged and i noticed theres like two things for tubes to be connected to on the mass airflow sensor was wondering maybe its suppost to run to that. it cuts off after i drive it for along time too like when im idle and then begin to accelerate and if i try to stab it, it like cant take all the power hard to explain im not really a mechanic just a kid who loves cars.
i just know it should at least be able to burn a little rubber when i want, anyways i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what could be wrong and maybe like some kind of way to show me how those lines on the MAF sensor are suppost to be connected i didnt think a car could run without it being connected right.
