I think I'm gonna try my first carb rebuild soon. I was wondering if when you clean up all your parts in carb cleaner, doesn't that take the coating of them and they will rust. I have a rebuilt one and its all rusty. Other than plating it how do you keep them from rusting. Can you paint the stuff on the outside of the carb? Or just dont worry about it?
