FITech efi swap

I haven't driven it a ton but even though it is a self learning system it still requires some fine tuning.

Fitech customer has been great the few times I've called. I will be calling the to fix the idle surge and sometimes doesn't start right away after warm up. I expect it to start right up just like any factory efi. Otherwise it is a very good system.

Thanks for sharing. I have a co-worker with a '64 El Camino that just installed a Vortec 454 very similar to the one I built. Just like I plan to do, he broke in his engine with a carb and then switched to FiTech (no timing control, though). His only complaint is a reluctance to start cold--he usually has to engage the starter two or three times before it catches and runs. But after that, everything is very good.

I look forward to fiddling with my own EFI setup. But first, I've got to get the engine in the car. 🙂
