Whew I’d have a hard time painting that car!
It does look pretty good. But there are some spots that kinda concern me like a rust stain coming from the driver's door handle and edges of the sheet metal that's not visible on the outside of the car.

Nice ride.
My question is "What did your Dad want to do?"
He saved money for the ride.
My El C is all about me.
My son wants it as I have built and has made his wishes clear to my wife.
He wanted to keep it stock for sure. He was a big NASCAR fan and like the connection with Bobby Allison and Dale Earnhardt.
So stock first until the engine fails 🙂

I'm down; go for it!

Got it on the lift yesterday to have a new exhaust installed.

Then this happened after 🙁

At some point the water pump or something locked up and it overheated severely.

Didn't even have a clue something was going wrong until I stopped at the end of an exit ramp.

Hopefully it's not hosed.

It’s trying to tell you something...............

Well I picked it up and it's not dead. But it's not idling well. I'm thinking it's the original spark plugs and overheating didn't help them any.
