That is one sweet project Malibu. Maybe put a trans and tune up on it and flip it???

Kevin,
It looks pretty straight and original. Maybe worth checking into as a flip. Someone would definitely want it.

I've given that some thought...we'll see what happens when I go inquire about it....car does seem pretty solid body wise.

It will sit there and rot.

Winter is coming and the passenger side door isn't even closed correctly so you know the rug is soaked.

Damm shame

Drivers side window is down a bit as well.....I'm going to keep an eye on it. It's actually not that far from where I live.

I got a chance to stop by this car after work today....I was told that it is not for sale. Apparently it was to be moved before now so I'm going to keep an eye on it and see what happens.
I love these type of characters...the car will sit there doing nothing but be tortured by the elements. They'd rather let it decompose than sell it to someone that would give it a good home.
Guys like that should be horsewhipped.

I agree Jack. One thing with this is that I did not actually talk to the owner...I was told that he wouldn't sell. I'm going to stop in again in a week or so and if it's still there, get the name and number and hear it from him. I didn't want to push the matter when I stopped the first time.

Like a friend of mine used to tell me about these kind of cars, when it rots to oblivion, it makes all the remaining ones worth a little bit more.

Kevin,
It doesn't hurt to approach the owner directly. You never know, he might have a change of heart that particular day that you meet him.
....or he'll tell you that he plans to restore it one day. That's a typical line.
