frame mount pump or in-tank?

Running a carb on my Monte,is it possible to use a fuel injected setup from a v6 and regulate it down or better off mounting a pump on the frame? Or is there another type of in-tank pump that is not really expensive? Any help is appreciated. Thank you

Yes, All you need is a bypass regulator and plumb the bypass to the return fuel line. Works perfect. I did this originally w/ my 84 Regal T-type when I had my carb setup on my 383sbc Made it real nice when I put EFI on my engine. I just changed regulators and the short fuel lines in the engine bay and it was done.
