Thank you for the quick response, it's going to be be normal. I was thinking about buying all those part from BMI frame reinforce.....that should work right? For the book version of normal driving nothing. For my version which includes launching on stoplights, drifting, autocross yea it's a good idea to at least box the frame.
I.e.Any basic f41 stuff works. I'm more of the more is better class. If you do things to make it handle better or add more power then stock it's a good idea to make the rest if the car stiffer. Of course I come from running 2nd gen f body cars so lots of parts and welding is done.
No 2 cars are the same. Age, construction, where it sat or what weather was around all adds up. Plus previous work. In my case the prev owner garage kept the car but gutted every support out of the rear to put a dozen subwoofers. I had planned to just box the frame but after cleaning all that junk out I will be installing a 6 point cage and boxing the frame.
If one thing is certain you start small and think its good. Then the next upgrade and the next. If it's not your current daily driver spend the money now and build it 3x what you think you need. It's only a matter of time before the 300hp 350 isn't enough and a 500 hp ls motor or a 1000hp big block turbo motor goes in.
