Those look nice. Any mods to get them rims to fit on the car? Any regrets going with 17s? I like to play around and get on it with my car

Thanks, I have F body spindles so they kick out the wheels about 1/2" per side and a 67 A body rear with is 2.5" wider than the G body rear. I had trim the inner fender at the back but if you have G body spindle they have a smaller arc so with G body spindles you may be ok. I have .75 negative camber but I still had to fold the top of the fender in a bit. I have a Delphie 600 box so I had to put some stops on the lower control arms so it would not rub the 36 mm sway bar. If you have a stock sway bar and steering box you shouldn't have that problem. For the backs I had to roll the quarter panel a little. The wheels have a 4" BS

If you want to do a rubber rake, then larger diameter rears help with that. But I feel on these cars, more than an inch difference front to rear is too much. It works better on the big full size 60s and 70s cars to go more than an inch difference front to rear.

Wow. I hope I don't have to go thru all that! I Had to put spacers on the 15" wheels just so they didn't rub the control arms...

I am currently running 215-70 15's front and 235-70-15's rear on my 83 El Camino. The fronts are 26.85" tall and will rub in tight turns. the rears are 28" tall and I have no fitment issues at all.
Some people run 235-60-15's up front (26.1") . I have also run 205-70-15's up front ( 26.4")
I say all of this because I am pretty sure you can safely run tires about 235 or maybe 245 wide up front and up to about 26.4, 26.5 tall (depending on backspacing) and say 275mm wide / 28" tall rear.
Something in a 235-50-17 (26.25") up front and perhaps a 275 50-17, or 255-55-17 out back. ( I have run tires up to 295 wide under the back of an 84 el Camino and have no trouble running a 275-60-15) I hope this helps! best of luck!
