What is everyone using for rim sizes? Would 17 in rear and 15 in front be overkill? The rims I like are either 15s or 17s........dont come in 16s....

Whatever you decide, please run the same rim diameter front and rear. 16's are available. Just depends on style you want. I had IROC's for awhile, then S10 Xtreme wheels, both are 16x8. Most aftermarket companies make then that fit in a 16". Larger sizes are definitely more popular. I'm currently running 18x9.5 all around with 275/35/18 tires. You could say it sticks in the corners ;)

I run 17 x 8 `s all away around on my 1981 El Camino SS. I have also run 15`s and 16`s on all four corners on my car at times

I have similar wheels to the ones you are looking at, I run 17 x 8 with 245-50-16 tires

Tight fit putting 16" tires on those 17" wheels?

I got those tires on sale so I put the wheels in the freezer and the tires in the microwave and I got them to fit, took me hours to get the melted rubber off my hands though....:)

Those look nice. Any mods to get them rims to fit on the car? Any regrets going with 17s? I like to play around and get on it with my car

stick with the 17's,you have much more tire options than the 15". that and it fills the wheel well nicer too

I have 15" wheels on my Monte mainly because of running drag tires and frontrunners but both front and rear tires are tall so they fill up the wheel well.
