Front end is still sitting higher than the rear with a big *ss engine in it.

Stumped.

Raise the rear or change out the springs?

Opinions?
When I first dropped my SBO 350 in, the springs looked way wrong....and the front end had no give. But, after adding the trans, the hood, the front bumber and header, it settled a bit. now she sits level and looks good. I used moogs springs for the 350 diesel so they are stiff. But over time, they should soften up a bit. good luck!

I heard that, these springs have no give. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt before I go with 5660 S-10 or cut these.

if you cut them you'll increase the spring rate

Makes sense, less travel. No wonder everyone goes with the 5660 s10 for handling. Makes sense.

I wouldn't be surprised if the rear springs are shot. I've had a few cars that needed them replaced. You can tailor your ride height too by going with HD springs or cargo coils. Just depends on your taste I suppose.

All new spring in the rear as well. I think I have teh spring wrong. It looks as if I need to be using a moog 5608.

i have the same problem, i replaced all springs an shocks and the fron still looks higher, funny thing is i had some springs i bought in autozone on the rear, so i went out and bought the moogs, and the mogs looked and where weaker than the az ones, so i returned them.

if your trying to measure the height by eye looking at the wheel openings that won't be accurate. You need to park on a flat surface and measure the height of the frame at each end of the C channel from the ground

Do you happen to have the ride height specs? Or where to find them?

I don't have the specs from factory. I have mine lowered and I was sure it was higher in the front till I measure the chassis

I said the hell with it and went with teh Moog5220 S-10 springs. hey look good and feel tight.

put cargo springs in the rear for a big lift! 😀
