Hey roger, don't make assumptions. So far i've observed two things by heating the fuel, slightly more responsiveness from the engine, and a solid +20-25 MPG from the first tank of gas, i won't really know the full (if any) benefit until i've ran a few tanks of fuel through this system.

Fair comment, I read the article and I understand the principles behind it.
Jaguar marketed a lean burn version of their v12 engine in Europe which used similar but not identical technology which significantly improved mileage, but slightly hurt performance. I don't think it met US emission requirements so wasn't sold in North America.

Maybe this kind of engine will take off when material technology catches up, the principles of gas turbine engines were well known before the metals to make them in reliable quantities were available. Early gasoline engines were unreliable and inefficient contraptions, but over the years have developed into modern very reliable, efficient, and long lived machines.

Roger.

Well so far i've got mixed results. I'll run this for two more tank-fills, and it i don't get any solid results i'm going to have to throw this one in the myth category. Like they say, you'll never know if you never try.
