hi all,

my 85' 442 keeps stalling out on me,
when it happens-- the car would be idled and I would rev it once and it'll start stalling and die.
-- also when driving the car after its warm it will seem like it has no fuel when I give it gas, I step on the gas and nothing happens for like 2 seconds and then it tries to accelerate but not steady, kinda like it doesn't want to go, as if it's not getting gas.
--- it wont die unless I come to a full stop.
--- in order to start it back up I have to give it some gas.

could it be the fuel filter?

Could also be the fuel pump going bad. I would start by checking/replacing the easiest and cheapest items first and work your way from there. Be consistent and thorough and you'll find the problem.
