i dont think yall get what im trying to do. I'd be using the third line as the return from the q-jet. or are you saying i can cap the return from the q-jet?

Now i'm starting to get confused. There should only be one line running to the carb, and no return line from the carb. Are you trying to run a loop from the pump to the carb and then back to the pump? Or pump to the carb then back to the tank? And why not just have it dead headed at the carb?

there is a return line on the back of my carb. it originally went back to the tank. i now have a fuel cell with no return valve. Are you saying i can plug the return port on my carb?

I have never seen a return line on a quadrajet. Are you absolutely sure it is not for the metal vacuum line for the brake booster?

then this is?

That's it. A steel line goes in there and then over to the brake booster. There will be some rubber in the line for flex though. I usually just get a barbed fitting for it then run rubber over to the booster. And don't forget the check valve for the booster.

That's the bowl vent that goes to the charcoal cannister.

Nope, sorry. The PCV needs to connect to manifold vacuum. That port is above the throttle plates and is the bowl vent.
