uhhhhhh, LS gen IV AFM failed, got lucky limping home, almost got stranded. if the camshaft had wiped a lobe, then it would have been a teardown and rebuilt.

But LS heads interchange with small block Ford heads with little work. This allows LS heads to fit very closely on Ford small blocks right off the bat. The head bolt pattern and bore spacing between the two are nearly the same.

could HAVE though, I was 3 miles from home and didn't know the consequences of the AFM failing. if I HAD known I would have seriously considered calling a tow truck. so effectively......
