I thought they purchased the old Buick 215 aluminum engine for the Rover. That made a lot of sense at the time as it was super light weight and durable. But use only 6 cylinders?!?block is casted to keep the back two sealed off, crank made without the back journal.
Ford truck is my guess as well... they started using "high grade" aluminum construction for their beds, wrong thing to do by the looks of it.Says something for the tenacity of a Harbor Freight ratchet strap....
Is that Military grade aluminum on that bedside?
