Just got done putting in a set of camaro pedals...... Fuse box is is the way of the clutch pedal. Has anybody done this swap, where's the best place to relocate the box. I was thinking about moving it over behind the glove box. It does not look like it would be to easy to get up under the dash to mount it, or replace fuses later down the road.

I've done the swap but I used the G body housing and brake pedal and modified the F body clutch pedal by adding 3/4" to it's length and adjusting it so sit where I want. The F body bracket does not fit a G body, the F body pedals end up too high and too close to the driver...I don't have issues with the fuse box although it is close..and I have a stop for the pedal so it doesn't travell to the firewall, the stop is to prevent too much pressure on the hydraulic thro out bearing

Yeah I use the malibu bracket looked like a lot better fit then trying to modify the camaro one. Thanks for the tip for the stop I was over looking that, trying to get too much done in one day I guess.

for the stop I used a high tech precision built appliance adjuster. Just drilled a hole is the fire wall and used the two nuts it came with to adjust it. Spread a bit of silicone around it to seal it and haven't touched it since

another thing I did with the pedals is I reshaped the arm for the brake to move the pedal over closer to the gas pedal and moved the clutch pedal over a little as well. I also put a F body hand brake in so I could get rid of the parking brake pedal. I'm old and I was worried about getting confused with so many pedals..

I've heard most people just grind a little on the fuse box for clearance.

If you move it, your going to have to cut a hole somewhere else in your firewall so that you can plug the engine harness in to it.

If it was me, I would be the clutch pedal from John Bzdel before I moved the fuse box/bulkhead connector. It bolts on to a stock G-body pedal assembly and provides plenty of clearance to the fuse box. You just have to trim your stock brake pedal a little and make it smaller.
