I'm using Spohn's "del-sphere" bushings on my upper tubular adjustable arms and have the matching lowers to put on when I have the time. As of now I really can't say it's any rougher of a ride. I do drive around with 275/60 MT drag radials and 90/10 drag shocks in the front with Spohns drag ARB in the back as well.

So you guys are says the roto type joint is the way to go. Are those joints on both ends of the upper and lower arms or just one or the other.

they come with one on the uppers since at the rear end they install onto the bushings.Plus you only need one since that has enough movement to deal with binding. For the bottom I had mine custom made by UMI with one Roto Joint to pick up the angle on the A body rear I have. You tell Ryan or Ramey what you need and they'll help you out and they only charged me the difference between the cost of the parts for the modification they made.

it's over kill for the street, how much does your suspension really travel??? I have stiff Spring in my Elcamino, and big sway bars

FYI From PMT

These zinc plated forged steel spherical bushings with lubrication points that offer 30 degrees of articulation. They feature a polyurethane bushed core that applies preload as well as allows for quiet operation and it is fully rebuildable. This unit is a 2" diameter, 2" width with 3/4-16 rh threads, accepts 1/2" hardware and cones with a jam nut installed ready to go!. We use these on a multitude of applications! We can also supply the necessary spacers for custom widths if needed. One joint included for this price

I don't understand why you would want to purchase the trailing arms and then purchase the rod ends separately at $35 each which you may have to shim when you can buy what is made to fit and is in use on our cars with no problems....

The one thing you need to watch with those mounts is they are advertised as 2" wide. The G-Body control arm mounts are 2.400". So you would need spacers to make it 0.400" wider?

Those mounts from PMT are Johnny Joints, built by Currie as well.

I will get with Ramey and see what you were looking at from us.

Thanks,
Ryan

It was the same items im my original ema, thanks rw

Hello,

I just got with Ramey and went through the e-mail trail. Ramey gave you a quote and you replied that our prices were higher than PMT. I just checked PMT's site and it looks like the price Ramey quoted you is the same as their site, so we are a little confused?

If you send us links to PMT items we can double check all of that. If you already did we can't find them.

We could be a little higher on some products but we do feel you are receiving a superior product. We have been doing this for 10 years now, we design our products, test our products and install. Unlike some of the competitors who are just copying everyones stuff.

Let me know and we are glad to help. Thanks,
Ryan
