G body door panel interchange

So I’ve seen mentioned several times that any G body door panels should fit but I want to specify before I buy these... will any year g body door panel for any goody? I have a 1980 Cutlass supreme and the door panels I’m looking at are out of a 1985 Cutlass supreme. They look the same but I’m just eyeballing from a picture.

The fancy Grand Prix door panels don't fit everything.

They will interfere with the other models dashboards

I don’t know if it helps, but cutlass supreme door panels fit on Monte Carlos, so I would assume vice versa. The 78 Monte I just bought has a cutlass supreme door panel.

I am not sure about 78-80 but 81' and up Cutlass and Regal upper door panels have a slight rise at the front on the panel that matches the door where the Monte is straight.

I've got 86 Monte panels on my 78 Malibu...

Door weatherstripping does not interchange between all our cars, so in my mind door panels would follow the same interchange as the weatherstripping, but anything can be made to work I suppose.
