Warren's got the silver MC and Blue Elco right? Been seen that monte, all quality. Given I've got the right person which car is he putting them on. I just got my box from Ed Miller today so once i get these calipers i can knock this out and move on to the front.

These are not going on the ss, the ss is torn back down and getting the works, he picked up two sets from me, one for El Co Mel and 1 for him to play with...

Had a pretty effed up day at the yard yesterday. I went to get the spindles and hubs for this upgrade. I hid my tools in the Blazer to go see if the Z-28 still had the front calipers on it, maybe five minutes. Came back and all my tools were gone. Even my lineman pliers. I'm an electrician. Nobody saw anything! which is typical around here. So needless to say I never got the spindles or hubs. No damn tools! I'll go back maybe tomorrow. gotta get some new tools first. :evil:

I got another question for you. Do you know what size the nuts are on the blazer ball joints? I gotta go buy sockets just to take the spindles off.

prob 18mm or 19mm, i cant remember off top of my head bring some vice grips with you too (large) and a large hammer, if you want to be correct in pulling it bring a tie rod/ball joint seperator... but a hammer works fine... if you use it right

Is there any way of telling if the hubs bearings are in good condition or not? or would it be worth it to get them new?

there is no way to tell how long they will last, my best recommendation is to get new ones... you can get them for as low as $40 each or as high as $130 each for some timkens... I just make sure they do not have any play in them, or are not making noise when I spin them... for the savings it may be worth it to use them, if they appear good, after you put them on the car (and drive for a while)... if they start making noise, then you know its time to change them...

hmmm, so whats the going rate for a complete set for the blazer dual piston set up? spindle, hub, calipers, brake line, some good brakes and rotors if you can find any, etc. I can never really find newer cars in the yards here by Long Beach
